Hurd is volume-limited, not weight-limited.
A 53-ft trailer holds about 10 tons of baled hurd and about 24 tons of grain. On a 400-mile haul, freight can exceed the value of the material. This is why there is no useful national price for hurd—and why a supplier list without geography is incomplete.

The United States grows industrial hemp, while deeper processing and established material specifications remain concentrated elsewhere. Raw value can leave as stalk or semi-processed fibre and return as a finished input. Hemplat measures the specifications, geography, and contracted demand needed to close that loop without excluding import supply buyers still need.

Industrial buyers already run intake QC on incoming material. Hemplat is preparing an anonymous buyer intake-QC record; no lot tests are stored or published in this MVP. Over time, accepted tests can create a record of supplier consistency from lot to lot.
